Things to do with bakers twine #245822

Baker's twine garlands are brilliant for hanging photos, notes, and cards around birthdays and Christmas time. I like to string them up around the house with those little stick-on wall hooks you find in the grocery store - that way I can take them down and move them around as often as I want. I do have one permanent installation though, and it's in The Spring Cottage office/ guest room/ photography studio/ stock storage area (a.k.a. Spring Industries Global HQ).

Above the desk I've created an organised 'inspiration wall' by hanging three strands of bakers twine spaced 20cm apart. Using our itty bitty pegs I clip ideas for the shop to the bottom strand, the middle line holds thoughts for the blog, and on the top line I note recommendations for things to do around Brisbane and South East Queensland. If we're ever stuck for new places to explore, walks to take, or restaurants to try all we have to do is consult the twine.
