Happy Friday! This long week isn't over yet 'cause I'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow (before, actually) for The Spring Shop's second pop-up at The Powerhouse Markets. We're back by popular demand and I'm hoping to see a heap of you there. Fingers cross for sun... at least in the morning!
That's the first thing. The second is this Mari ancient grain fruit and seed breakfast bread from Flannerys. Jess from Nutrition and Style brought it to our Wednesday tea date... and after these new enamelware dishes... it's my absolute favourite new thing. Plus Jess, a nutritionist, says it's "pretty healthy" so BONANZA! I like mine toasted with home-made almond butter or a crumbling of mature super-sharp cheddar. Yum.
Now I'm off to write up The Spring Shop & Blog Friday newsletter where I round up the weeks' news and share extra bits from my life as well as special offers from the shop... so come on over if you're not already on the list.
p.s. If the forecast changes to BAD and we have to pull out of the Saturday markets - which we hope will definitely NOT happen - I'll update you on our facebook and twitter feeds so no one turns up to an empty, muddy field on the day.
