1770

 Tales of the road trip continue with a few shots from our final destination... 1770. The oddly named town was, apparently, the first place in Australia Captain Cook laid eyes on when he pulled in looking for water... in the year 1770. Cook didn't drop anchor for long, but we had a lovely couple of days exploring the lush cliff tops, broad surf beaches and secluded little coves of Bustard Bay. Dressing for the beach in winter can be tricky. To shield myself from the beating sun and chilly winds, I layered my Seafolly bikinis under light coloured long sleeves and short bottoms with a few simple gold accessories and the broadest brimmed fedora from here. {A helpful hint: If you're at the coast in winter, make sure you bring an arsenal of rich moisturisers - I got quite badly wind burned on my face, lips, and hands, and I'm still feeling pretty chapped because I didn't have the right product to protect my skin at the time!}
