It’s been a while since there’s been a giveaway on The Spring so I’m super excited about what’s on offer from our newest sponsor* today: two copies of The Perfectly Imperfect Home for you lovely readers! This beautiful 256 page coffee table book is filled with easy-to implement decorating inspiration and irresistibly quirky watercolour illustrations by Canadian artist Virginia Jones. I’m completely charmed by the book’s good looks and message – that a well designed home should feel as comforting to live in as it is beautiful to look at. Author Deborah Needleman’s style is layered and elegant, sentimental and accommodating of life’s unavoidable messiness… it’s aspirational in a real girl kind of way – no stark minimalism here!
To win your copy of The Perfectly Imperfect Home:
- Leave a comment explaining which area of your home you’d most like to re-design.
- Let me know how you follow The Spring {Bloglovin, Google Reader, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and/or Instagram!}
- Giveaway open to Australian and American readers only.
The 2 winners will be announced & contacted by email in two weeks time! Good luck!

This seems like such a great book! The area of the home I would like to re-design – well, design from scratch really, my room in my French house that I have not done anything too yet!
(I follow with Bloglovin’. From my blog it may look like I’m entering this competition from England, but I do live in Los Angeles!)
What a lovely giveaway, count me in please!
I would must like to re-design my bathroom – it is the original 1950′s design complete with green and pink tiles. It really needs to go.
Off to follow you on FB now!
The bathroom. It’s the most boring room in the house – it has a white toilet, white sink and glass shower. Absolutely boring.
I’d love to rejuvenate our master bedroom – it’s currently very stark, and not warm and inviting. I fantasise about learning how to inject that sweet shabby-chic touch that others seem to have naturally.
I follow you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Bloglovin’!
Aside from the kitchen and bathroom and basically knocking off the whole back of the house and starting again the room I most want to work on at the moment is the kids’ shared room.
I follow you on google reader and just now on instagram too!
I’m a fan on Facebook (Kate Ryan) and I’d LOVE to redesign The End Room. Yes, it has capitals, that’s it’s official title. I sew in there, but we also store a bunch of junk that I’d like to mostly get rid of. Also our linen cupboard is in there, and it’s our cat’s bedroom.

Our bedroom…the bedroom suite is one of the first things I bought when I moved out of home (15 years ago!) and it’s showing signs of age, is too chunky for the room, and I’d like a large print behind the bed rather than an oversized timber bedhead.

I would love to redesign our outside living area as it is a little plain at the moment
I would lurveeeeee to redesign the bedroom. This is the room which I often become quite careless in keeping clean, clothes often live on the floor, it is my dream to redesign the room to fit my vintage vibe while still having plenty of storage space and more space in general!
I’d love to redesign the kitchen to encourage me to enjoy the time I have to spend in there every day. I’ve always dreamed of having a breakfast bar and perhaps someday this can be a reality!
Thanks for the great giveaway
