There’s nothing like an unexpected gift, and I’ve been more than a bit spoilt by a few very good ones already this month. It seems everything’s coming up pink in my closet lately, and I’m loving the bright, summery freshness of rosy hues as an antidote to the rainy dampness of the past couple of weeks.
1. Crossing sandals in coral from Zomp on James St. A Christmas present from my Ma who spotted them first, although you can also check them out in the Shopping section of the latest issues of Russh.
2. Pink JBrand mid-rise skinny jeans c/o mywardrobe.com. I still can’t believe it, but I won these in The Sydney Girl’s blog giveaway! They arrived beautifully wrapped in an impossibly short time so a HUGE THANKS to my-wardrobe and Joelyne. The fit and fabric is so completely perfect, I have to recommend these pants as the ultimate summer splurge!
3. ASOS watch with white leather strap and neon details. Ok, this was a gift to myself. But at $23 with free shipping, how could I resist? It’s a fun, functional, and looks great on tanned summer skin. Bargain!

Ta’s – Yep, that’s our library, and only about half of it! Two PhD students (one of whom is a pathological second-hand book buyer) equals the need for A LOT of shelf space!
