Whenever I’m at the Gold Coast I always make time to hang out at Gov’s Espresso, Mermaid Beach. Gov’s is more than a coffee shop – it’s a vintage emporium with a seriously good magazine collection, the yummiest sweet and savoury muffins, plus the raddest playlist to set the mood. The place is looking fab after its recent downsize and refurbishment and it’s the perfect space to relax and daydream about long summer days in the pages of periodicals.

govs is my favourite too! I like their new renovation too. I only wish they had a bit more food offerings. also I left a reply for you on my blog ….
@Catherine @ The Spring ~ yes!! Im such a fan of Egglestons work, he was an inspiration to me when I was studying photography at uni! I loved how he photographed such simple things but they always looked interesting and full of colour.
oh and I highly recommend going up the Q1, but make sure its a nice clear day, to be worth the money. I went at end of the day and stayed for sunset.
That coffee shop looks like mind kind of place. It seems like down the coast is a real Mecca for vintage lovers. Thanks for your nice comments too. xx
Cannot wait to be on holidays and go hang out at Govs!!

I adore that pink bike! I haven’t lived on the GC in a few years but I’m hearing so many great things about the coffee shop scene. A weekend beach trip is definitely on the cards!
Thanks for always taking the time to stop by our blog too – and we love what you’re doing here on The Spring
xx
